 AIMS Enhanced Functions for RGC Open Access Plan

 

| About the AIMS Enhancement |

To cope with the requirements of the Open Access Plan of RGC, the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) enhanced the AIMS Research Output Interface for researchers to provide supplementary information on the publication and related patents if any.

| About the System |

The Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) and the University Planning Office (UPO) have collaboratively developed the new e-Declaration System (Research Grants) to replace the current paper-form of Declaration for Research Grants.

Please sign in the system with your CUHK o365 account.

| Application for Delegation in the System |

In the e-Declaration System, there are user roles of Endorser Delegate and PI Delegate, who will help with the handling of declaration applications, please refer to the following table for details. If you would like to apply for delegation in the system, please complete and submit the online application form.

User Role User Functions Online Application Form
Endorser Delegate
  • Access to the submitted declaration which being routed for endorsement;
  • Check and validate the information in the declaration form;
  • Return the declaration form to applicant for amendment;
  • Endorse or not endorse the declaration form on behalf of the Endorser.

PI Delegate
  • Create a declaration application and save it as Draft (i.e. the declaration application can only be submitted by PI);
  • Access to the declaration application which were drafted by himself/herself, only for status Draft or Revision;
  • Amend the declaration form being returned by Endorser/Endorser Delegate.
