The Hong Kong SciTech Pioneer Award aims to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions of outstanding scientists and research teams in the fields of Deep Tech, Biotechnology, Space Science, ESG, and Future Innovation.

The Award

One awardee will be chosen in each category:

1. Deep Tech Pioneering Research Team – Cash Prize HKD 15,000
2. Biotechnology Pioneering Research Team – Cash Prize HKD 15,000
3. Space Science Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HKD 10,000
4. Environmental Science Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HKD 10,000
5. Future Innovation Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HKD 10,000

All awardees will receive:

• A trophy of recognition
• The cash prize
• Exclusive Exchange Tour to a leading I&T city at the Yangtze Delta region in Mainland China in April/May 2025
• Attend Pre-award workshop at Henderson Land Group’s property
• Receive feedback on your proposal from Henderson Land Group’s judging panel
• Engage in meaningful discussions with Henderson Land Group’s representatives and learn from their expertise
• Opportunities for potential funding

• Judging Panel Interviews – December 2024
• Announcement of Finalists - Early January 2025
• Judging Panel Interview - January/ February 2025
• Public Showcase and Voting for Award Finalists – January & mid-February 2025
• Announcement of Awardees – Late February 2025
• Award Ceremony & Presentation – March 2025
• Awardees’ Mainland China Exchange Tour – April/May 2025
