Theme: Capital Raising Strategy (Investors Prospecting & Engagement)

Key Topic:

▪ Define capital raising and its importance for startups

▪ Discuss different funding stages (Seed,Series A,etc.)

▪ Bootstrapping vs. External Funding (techniques, pros and cons, crowdfunding)

▪ Understanding investors (types, analyze motivations and what they look for, rise of micro-VCs)

▪ Building the pitch deck (storytelling and content)

Theme: Business Plan in Practice (Commercialization & Go-to-Market)

Key Topic: 

▪ Define commercialization and its role in a startup's success and importance of customer validation

▪ Understanding your target market (market research methodologies, development of customer personas, post-covid considerations)

▪ Pricing strategy and value proposition (pricing model alignment, case studies)

▪ G2M strategy (understanding sales channels, strategy development based on target market and product/service)

▪ Social media presence and influencer marketing

Theme: Financial Plan in Practice (KPI Forecast, Valuation & Exit Mechanism)

Key Topic:

▪ Explain the importance of a financial plan for startups (income statement, balance sheet)

▪ Setting KPIs and financial projections (how to build a simple financial model)

▪ Discuss the importance of scenario planning and risk management

▪ Company valuation and exit strategies (valuation methods, exit mechanisms
