CUHK’s Office of Innovation and Enterprise (OIE) and Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) co-organised the event: Zhuji I3 Park – An accelerated pathway for Overseas IVD IPs to commercialize in China on Sep 5, 2023 (Mon).
In this session, Dr. Wang Yu (President, Zhuji I3 Park) shared his venture story, the service capability and unique value proposition of newly founded Zhuji I3 Park to clinicians, scientists and early stage IVD start-ups with great interests in commercialising IVD innovations. Zhuji International IVD Innovation Park (I3 Park) is one of the major 2023 industrial projects in Zhuji province. Its unique and innovative operation model (Incubation – Validation – Manufacturing) aims to nurture, groom the innovative entrepreneurial talents and build the top brand for its incubatees.
In addition, Dr. Wang also analysed the typical roadmap of IVD early-stage start-ups, introduced the potential incubation offers of Zhuji I3 Park to the audience. Together with the joint resources management and human capital agglomeration, Zhuji I3 Park also provides Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) related services, regulatory compliance, shareholding structure, fundraising consultation service to its incubatees to support and accelerate the business growth.
