Legal Series 9: Shareholder Agreements(Photo: VA Team, ORKTS)Thanks to Mr. Padraig Walsh (Partner, Tanner De Witt), we co-hosted another fruitful session – Shareholder agreements for our CUHK entrepreneurs on Sep 06, 2023 (Wed).
In this session, Padraig highlighted that Shareholders’ agreement is the governance and operation of the company after the investor coming into the start-up and the progressive development of the company business. It is also considered as the balancing exercise to calibrate and balance the rights between the investors and the company itself, allowing the flexibility to manage the business, protect your own investment to certain extent especially the time you would like to get fair shares in future.
