The webinar was a resounding success, drawing close to 30 participants who are interested in the inspiring journey of the transformative path from the world of law to social entrepreneurship, shared by our guest speaker, Ms. Lamia Sreya Rahman, a passionate social entrepreneur from Seekr and the Champion of Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge 2023-24.
The highlight of Lamia’s presentation was her invaluable insights for aspiring social entrepreneurs. She stressed the significance of empowering beneficiaries to reach their full potential and emphasised the essential role of understanding users' needs, even in the context of technological products. Additionally, Lamia provided practical tips for those interested in starting their social entrepreneurship journey, including conducting thorough market research, competitor analysis, engaging with community partners, pursuing recognition, and measuring impact for their projects.
Lamia's inspiring presentation paved the way for an engaging dialogue with the audiences. Through sharing her unique journey, Lamia hopes to motivate and inspire the audiences to leverage their potential for making social change, regardless of their backgrounds and abilities.
