Event Highlight | China International Import Expo (5-10 November, 2024)
The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place from 5 to 10 November, 2024, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, CIIE stands as the world’s first import-themed national-level exhibition. Over 3,400 enterprises from 129 countries and regions participated, including more than 280 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises this year.
Our presence was highlighted in the Hong Kong Services Pavilion, led by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), aiming to bring Hong Kong companies across various sectors, including healthcare products and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, to facilitate more in-depth cooperation with the Chinese mainland.
This year, the CUHK extended invitations to two project teams that achieved significant success at the 8th YangPu Global Startups Competition” to participate in the exhibition. They will showcase their innovative products to the public and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
