
The “GreenTech Hub”, established by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), was launched on 11th March 2025 at InnoCentre as the leading green technology hub. This initiative brings together more than 200 green technology companies in the ecosystem to drive R&D and demonstrate sustainable solutions, propelling Hong Kong as an international hub for green technology and green finance.
With The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) being one of the 16 GreenTech Hub Partners, the hub serves as a dynamic nexus connecting industry and academia to drive ecosystem growth and innovation, accelerate green technology development, support government decarbonization strategies, and solidify Hong Kong’s position in the global GreenTech landscape.
About the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation
HKSTP is a public corporation set up by the Hong Kong Government in 2001 to foster innovation and technology development in Hong Kong, manages facilities and provides value-added services for the technology, research and development sector in Hong Kong. These facilities include Hong Kong Science Park (for technology companies), InnoCentre (for design enterprises), and three industrial estates at Tai Po, Yuen Long and Tseung Kwan O (for a range of skill-intensive business sectors) as well as the Technology Incubation Programme. According to the Government, Hong Kong Science Park is the 'flagship technology infrastructure' in Hong Kong.
