
SmartHK is an annual flagship event held by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) held across major cities in mainland China. This year, SmartHK was co-organized by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province as well as the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, which was staged in Nanjing to boost collaboration between Hong Kong and Yangtze River Delta. The event was successfully hosted at Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing on 28 August 2024.
This event featuring an exhibition, start-up pitching sessions, on-site business matching opportunities and market visits, aims to strengthen cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong. As a key exhibitor, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) along with 5 start-up companies under the TSSSU scheme, showcased a range of impactful products resulting from CUHK's research and innovation. The presence underscored CUHK's commitment to knowledge transfer, translating research into tangible societal benefits.
