The Professor Charles K. Kao Student Creativity Awards (PCKKSCA)「高錕教授學生創意獎」2025, a biennial competition of technological innovation co-organized by The Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) and Center for Entrepreneurship (CfE), that aims to promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst full-time students in CUHK, is now open for application!

PCKKSCA is open to all CUHK full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Project categories include:

• Life Sciences
• Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering
• Information Technology
• Mathematics and Physics / Mechanics and Control Systems

The following types of projects are welcome for submission:

• Undergraduate’s Final Year Project
• Postgraduate’s Research Project
• Your self-innovation

(As long as the projects have not been awarded in any international competitions or fully published in a journal, they are qualified for entry)

Champion prizes for Group Entries and Individual Entries are HK$18,000 and HK$10,000 respectively. Selected teams may also represent CUHK to participate in other local, national and international competitions.

DEADLINE for submission: 5:00 PM (HKT), 17 February 2025 (Monday)

Shortlisted teams will present project to the judging panel on late-March 2025.

Prize presentation ceremony will be held in late-May 2025.
