As a healthcare professional by training, Peter served as Executive Director of the Kwai Ching District Health Centre, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation prior to joining the Foundation. Currently, he is also Adjunct Associate Professor of the Centre for Health Education and Health Promotion, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is committed to the advancement of community health, empowerment, self-management, and compassionate care at multiple levels, from individuals, organizations to systems.
Ms. Ruby Yong
Program Director, The D. H. Chen Foundation
With a strong commitment to compassion-based philosophy, Ruby has over 15 years of experience in engaged philanthropy, education, and non-profit organizational governance and management. She also serves as Directors of Shakespeare4ALL and VolTra, both of which are non-profits promoting students’ wellbeing and unleashing their potential. Ruby holds a BA degree and an M. Phil degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
